One of a series of paintings I created after spending 8 months in the Blue Mountains in SW Australia. I found a hidden sacred cave and created pigments from the different earthy tones of rock which I then made ground into pigments. I entered a space of meditation and let the image emerge. The energies of the cave and the earth are captured within the painting.
